HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?
All Meg has ever wanted is to get away. Away from high school. Away from her backwater town. Away from her parents who seem determined to keep her imprisoned in their dead-end lives. But one crazy evening involving a dare and forbidden railroad tracks, she goes way too far...and almost doesn't make it back.John made a choice to stay. To enforce the rules. To serve and protect. He has nothing but contempt for what he sees as childish rebellion, and he wants to teach Meg a lesson she won't soon forget. But Meg pushes him to the limit by questioning everything he learned at the police academy. And when he pushes back, demanding to know why she won't be tied down, they will drive each other to the edge -- and over....
I have to say that this book was utterly AMAZING! I read the whole book in just one sitting. Going Too Far is not your typical romance novel--it's hard for me to really say why, but trust me, IT'S GOOD. The book was incredibly well-written, and the characters felt so real. I feel like I know John and Meg personally now, because their behaviors and attitudes are so greatly conveyed throughout the story. I must mention that a couple parts really shocked me, which doesn't happen all-too-often because many books that have romance in it can get very predictable. The emotions felt throughout the book just makes the book so appealing and addicting to read. I can't think of anything bad about the book, so that HAS to be a good thing.
